Strand Hall is part of OSU’s National Historic District. Existing accessibility ramps were located inconveniently alongside entries, meaning not all users could enter the building in the same location. A complete building renovation was taken as an opportunity to redevelop the exterior access and quad. A new entrance portico and terrace were integrated into the west elevation, providing a high-profile entrance and heightened identity fronting the campus quad and historic district.
