Lake2Bay Street Concept Plan

The Lake2Bay Corridor presents a once in-a-lifetime opportunity to reconnect some of Seattle’s most significant neighborhoods, public spaces and cultural assets, including the new Central Waterfront, Olympic Sculpture Park, Seattle Center, and Lake Union. Walker Macy developed a comprehensive street concept plan with the goal of catalyzing extensive improvements to the public realm in four adjacent neighborhoods. The Lake2Bay corridor is envisioned as a hub of re-development, and the project will nurture livability as the area changes. The plan proposes park-like streetscapes as a platform for the arts, social life, and enhanced multimodal infrastructure.
