Walker Macy is seeking a landscape architect or landscape designer with 2-4 years of professional experience for our Portland, OR office to assist in the design and technical development of projects.
Walker Macy is a design firm that provides landscape architecture, urban design, and planning services throughout the Western United States. We focus on public projects such as parks, waterfronts, and campuses, and also have a broad range of work that includes site design for civic and cultural buildings, interpretive centers, and mixed-use development. We have a collaborative team culture with a commitment to innovative design, sustainability, and client relationships.
We are seeking a talented professional to assist with the design and production of projects as part of our landscape architecture, urban design, and planning team. This position requires a professional degree in landscape architecture (BLA or MLA), excellent design, graphic and rendering skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumion, and SketchUp or Rhino experience preferred), experience producing construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit, strong communication skills and a willingness to take initiative. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, rigorous, collaborative, organized, and efficient.
