Walker Macy is working with First Forty Feet and the City of Vancouver to redevelop the former Tower Shopping Mall site as the Heights District. The Heights District is envisioned as a vibrant urban neighborhood that is sustainable, healthy, equitable, accessible, and safe. It will engage public open space, diverse housing affordable to a wide range of community members, safe multimodal travel opportunities within the district, and transit to nearby neighborhoods. The Heights Plan is an opportunity for the City to partner with the private sector to bring new investment to central Vancouver and ensure that new development provides benefits and opportunities to a broad range of residents and businesses now and into the future.
