Freeway Park Improvement Project

Walker Macy is excited to begin work on the Freeway Park Improvements Project!  Freeway Park is significant to Seattle and the profession of Landscape Architecture itself, as one of the major works in the Northwest by landscape architect Lawrence Halprin. This project will honor Halprin’s design, bring people back to the park, restore its status as a unique downtown destination, and re-establish its relevance as a connection between neighborhoods across I-5.
