Waterfront Park at Ankeny Plaza

This vibrant, flexible plaza breathes new life into this important crossroads within Waterfront Park. Once an under-utilized area adjacent to the Burnside Bridge, it is now a signature waterfront destination that accommodates the popular Portland Saturday Market’s weekend crowds and vendors. Visitors engage with interactive fountains and one of the only over-water overlooks on the west bank of the Willamette River in downtown. Recipient of the 2010 Oregon ASLA Merit Award, it has become recognized as a successful new destination in Portland’s historic core.
