Wilsonville High School Performing Arts Center

Walker Macy has worked on multiple consecutive capital West Linn-Wilsonville School District bonds over the last 20 years. Goals for all district projects included sustainability, equitable distribution of design quality throughout the district, cost-efficiency in long-term maintenance, and site safety. The Wilsonville High School Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the-art facility that offers flexible spaces to foster creativity and support education in performing arts. The project includes the renovation of the theater into classrooms, labs, and a black box theater, and the design and construction of a new 30,000 sf auditorium. The entry plaza invites in students and the community with welcoming wooden benches, a soft plant palette, and a large heritage white oak that was protected during construction and preserved on the site.
