Sam approaches landscape design with a unique perspective as a world traveler with an international upbringing. He has lived in places as far afield as New York, Montana, England, Germany, and South Korea. Through his travels, he was struck by the fact that people all over the world have the same need to connect to nature in the urban environment. He believes in the power of landscape to affect people in subtle yet significant ways. Sam earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Penn State University in 2013 and then served in the Korean military as required for his dual citizenship. Prior to joining Walker Macy, he worked at Terrain-NYC in New York.
