Freya Desis

Freya followed a winding road through the fields of architecture, writing, and graphic design to her role as Marketing Coordinator at Walker Macy where she uses her skills to help craft the firm’s story. Through her various creative endeavors, she has always been drawn to and inspired by nature. She studied art history at Emory University and then earned a Master of Architecture from Georgia Tech. After school, she moved to New York and worked as an architectural designer and landscape designer until a desire for a lifestyle change brought her to Portland. She adores escaping into books that open glimpses into a fully-formed landscape: following the adventuring rabbits of Watership Down or traveling through the Yorkshire Dales with Doctor Herriot on his rounds.
