Edmonds Civic Center Playfield

Once a high school sports field, this 8-acre open space was re-envisioned with a master plan and design to become a space that contributes to community identity and civic pride while supporting health, recreation, and the city’s growing reputation as a regional destination. The design supports active uses and large events, and is designed to promote spectatorship, play and exploration. This project fulfills the community’s desire for an iconic, all-ages destination that supports the vitality of the town center. Walker Macy has continued work on the project into design and implementation phases.
